I always love working on Joni Mitchell songs.
They’re not only beautiful , musically and poetically but challenging. I love the imagery they bring to mind , and I can’t help think of someone I know each time.
Her lyrics are so universally human they just seem to work that way. I can find someone in my life , for whom the song fits , and I can think about that person as I perform the song.
I feel it brings an authenticity to the performance that I wouldn’t have otherwise.
I hope you like STRANGE BOY. It’s one of my personal favourites .
