WHERE WILL I BE : This song was written by big time producer and humble guy Daniel Lanois. I think he’s most famous for giving U2 their sound , producing a number of records for them and really crafting that guitar sound that is now synonymous with the Edge and U2. But let’s not forget his work with Peter Gabriel and Bob Dylan. The guy’s a living legend .
I found this song on the Emmy Lou Harris album SPY BOY that he also produced and had a few original titles on. His work is as powerful and spiritual as it is human , in both lyric and approach. Always yearning. Always asking good questions. Always supremely musical.
