Berry Carols in the Park

Berry Carols In The Park

From 2014 – 2019 it was my very great honour to produce Berry Carols In The Park. It took a team of many Elves and a cast of 100’s to bring the show to life !

We’d start rehearsing in October ! Choirs, items, the Christmas Story drama and so much more.

I’d book a professional 4 piece jazz band, write the arrangements and perform the sing a long carols show each year. Truly a highlight of my career – my children are certainly very grateful for the years of Berry Carols in the Park.

For just over an hour , the people of Berry would roll out the picnic rug, light a candle and pour a glass of bubbly. Lots of kids were in the show, singing, dancing & acting. By the time we endured fire, floods and covid, we’d built the show up to accommodate a pretty serious crowd and a super reputation. Christmas Eve was caroling time ! It’s certainly an era we won’t forget in a hurry .

What people had to say :-

Who doesn’t look forward to Christmas with a young family or even a large family.  This special time of year our beautiful community of Berry would gather our blankets and take our snacks to secure a spot to enjoy the Carols by candle light.

The evening was always a high light as Deborah Dicembre would have included the local children in her Choir.  The Christmas Carols would bring everyone together and it has been a loss to the community to no longer have such an event. We are so grateful to Deborah for the memories and to have had such a talented lady lead our children in the carols by candle light. These are cherished memories we will have forever. I loved how such an amazing event would bring the whole community together including all the local church’s.  – Monique Miller

Over the years our repertoire included Aussie Jingle Bells, Oh Holy Night, Rudolph, Santa Claus Is Coming To Town, What Child Is This, Hallelujah, Away In A Manger, Let It Snow, and so many more .

Enjoy this highlight reel … see if you can spot anyone you know.
