Good news friends!! I’m excited to say that the recording of ‘Blame It On my Youth’ a 5 song EP that I was scheduled to record with pianist Kelvin Haisman last December is set for the studio this coming May.
Kelvin and I have worked together for a few years now . We are both residents of the paradise know as the South East Coast of Australia and together with studio owner Brad Williams we have a date set to make some musical magic this coming May.
In the meantime , enjoy this classic jazz standard, one of my favourites ‘Lullaby Of Birdland’. written by George Shearing and George David Weiss.
This was recorded at the ABC studios in Ultimo Sydney Australia . Band personnel includes Dale Barlow on flute, Jonathon Zwartz on Bass, Sean Wayland on Piano and Gordon Rytmeister on Drums. And yes , yours truly on vocals. ENJOY !
